| In what is otherwise an urban location near Youngstown State University, Park Vista sought a more residential flavor in building out the remainder of its community. Most of Park Vista consists of high-rise masonry structures with skilled nursing, dementia, assisted living, and residential care apartment units. The goal became aesthetically blending the community with adjoining houses and streetfronts while creating an independent living oasis for a select few residents who prefer a more homelike environment. Maximizing side and rear yards creates intimacy and privacy for residents and shields villas from urban surroundings. | |
